Compatible Epson Encoder Strip Carriage Scale Encoder Strip

The Epson encoder strip is a transparent plastic strip with tiny scales. It is usually located on a guide rail and used to inspect the position of the printhead. The encoder strip sensor is installed on the carriage and used to read the positioning scale of the encoder strip. When the carriage moves to a certain position, the encoder strip detects the position of the Epson print head in the carriage through the sensor and adjusts the position of the printhead to ensure the ink jetting is more accurate.

The Epson encoder disk is a transparent plastic wheel with codes on its circumference, which could control the vertical interval of paper feeding. It works with the Epson Encoder strip to position the rows and columns of the printing precisely and improve printing accuracy and speed.
