Ink Maintenance Box Chip Maintenance Cartridge Resetter
The capacity of the maintenance box is limited, when it is full, the waste ink may overflow into the printer. To avoid this, a waste ink tank counter is necessary. The maintenance box chip could record the amount of waste ink collected in the waste ink collector during the printer cleaning process. When the waste ink in the tank reaches the maximum number specified by the manufacturer, the printer will stop working and show warning signals.
To rework the printer, you need to reset the maintenance box. There are 2 ways to reset the maintenance box: one way is to replace the maintenance box chip, and the other way is to use a maintenance cartridge resetter to reset the old chip. For the waste ink tanks without chips, please reset the waste ink pad counter on the motherboard.

- Please note you may not reset the chip successfully if the remaining capacity of the maintenance box is lower than 15%. Our resetters have no limits for resetting times, so it is not necessary to save using times and reset the chip before the level falls to 15%.
- Please check the waste ink in the maintenance tank and replace or clean it if there is an excessive amount. If not, only resetting the chip may cause ink to flow into the printer and damage it.
- This chip resetter is for the maintenance box only, it cannot be used on ink cartridges. If you need to reset ink cartridges, please order our specific ink cartridge resetter.
