Waste Ink Pad Printer Ink Absorber Pad
A waste Ink Pad is also known as an ink absorber for Inkjet printers. It is a sponge, generally, in the maintenance box for most printers. It is used to absorb the waste ink from the printhead cleaning process. This prevents the waste ink from entering directly into the printer and protects the normal use of the printer.
When the amount of waste ink reaches a certain level, the ink absorber pad will need to be replaced or maintained. If you don’t clean or replace the ink pad timely, the waste ink will overflow into the printer, and affect print quality and printer life.
Compatible Printer Ink Pad
Our compatible printer ink pad is very competitive in the market because of its reliable quality and cheap price. With the highly absorbent sponge, it could avoid ink overflow effectively. We supply a complete series of Epson waste ink pads and Canon ink absorbers. Brother ink absorber pad is also available.
Waste Ink Pad Replacement
When the accumulated waste ink counter reaches the upper limit, the printer will stop working to prevent the waste ink from dripping inside the printer. To rework the printer, you need to replace the waste ink pad or clean it.
If you want to clean the ink absorber pad, remove it from the printer, soak it in water for 10-15 minutes, then gently wipe the surface with a clean towel or paper towel to remove the ink on it. Place it back into the printer until it is completely dry. It is important to note that the waste ink pad should not be over-cleaned as this will affect its ability to absorb ink. In general, we recommend replacing the waste ink pad directly because the compatible waste ink pad is very cheap.
Some printers are still unable to return to normal use after replacing the waste ink pads, and you need to reset the waste ink pad counter.
