The transfer roller assembly in black Konica Minolta printers transfers the toner image from the OPC drum directly to the paper. To improve transfer efficiency and image quality, Konica Minolta colour printers don’t transfer toner powder directly to the paper; instead, they use an intermediate transfer belt unit that includes a 2nd transfer roller unit. The intermediate transfer belt carries and forms the colour image, while the second transfer roller is the core component that ultimately transfers the image onto the paper.
